For Solenoid Records first Various Artists we're serving up five Dj's & producers from different parts of Europe and of varying styles. The first track "Vertical Motion" by Berlin based dj and producer marta is a 100% dance floor oriented track that organically puts together an ostinato bass line together with acid melodies and 90s shynt chords. The following track "Slowjam" by the italian duo we.amps brings us into a downtempo mood with a complex and perfectly executed orchestration full of surprising elements and colors. Side A ends off with a 90s disco / deep house track created by the founder and creator of Solenoid Records - Erta Ale. Side B showcases Amsterdam based DJ and producer Lupe with his track "Italo Elite" , who has brought to the table a fantastic Disco / Techno / Italo hypnotic track that's not easy to define but impossible not to dance to. The infectious bass line dominates the whole composition and we can't wait to listen to and play it on dancefloor- whenever that may be. Last but certainly not least , we end off side B with another artist who came out on Solenoid Records last year: the insatiable Sweetestcape all the way from London. For this release he's put together a tasteful deep house track called "Whatever the mushroom says". It's a perfectly executed track with hypnotic vocals to end off a closing set and ep, leaving us with a lingering taste for more.

In the early 90’s the English trio ‘The Boys From Chariss’ composed of Mark, Liam and Angus produced music that after more than 20 years is still very contemporary with massive baselines. With immense pleasure, Jooice has chosen to showcase for this new EP a stunning collection of their never-before-released tracks taken from old DATs.
Theory of Movement is back with more of their distinctive new deep house sounds. This is of course a collaborative project between Dan Piu and Grant and we haven't heard from them since back in 2018. With this latest outing though they remind us of their quality with all shades of classic-sounding house served up with some signature melodies to mark the first release on Grant's new label When the Morning Comes Records. On the back side is a special collaboration with Parbleu that results in some blessed out late-night soul.
Producers Oprofessionell and Alpha Tracks team up as Kineta once again to present their second EP in a new trilogy of releases titled ‘Proto’. Written during relentless production sessions spanning a week in a secluded Mediterranean coastal town, the pair gathered an expansive constellation of music that is now ready to surface. ‘Proto’ effortlessly captures the creative symbiosis shared between the two producers while undertaking a journey through the realms of modern psychedelic dance music.
From its beginnings as a reissue label, Spray has always been guided by an insatiable appetite for proggy dance music. If excavating long-forgotten gems weren’t enough though, the Irishman behind it all emerged from the fever dream that was lockdown a fully-realised producer/DJ entity. Also taking the name for his alias, Spray comes forth with a typically fractal offering.Insistent throb and propulsive, direct drive underpin the A-side. Where ’VT Trad’ opts for nebulous, cosmic detail and shadowy flex, ‘Q3projz’ surfaces a more utopian take on the blueprint.‘Zippycher’ then comes flush with wide-eyed radiance; a buoyant, lysergic rite primed for collective physical experience. ‘Slipped’, on the other hand, recalls early ‘90s Art Of Trance while sidestepping revivalist tags. Proper third portal business.
