New imprint led by Shonky aka Gangster Le S, showcasing some of his infamous studio excursions.

The mighty Schatrax label drops a reissue of a reissue, which was a reissue that we'd been keen to have back on our shelves for a while! If that all sounds a bit complicated, don't worry, we just mean to say that Josh Brent (label founder and purveyor of the Schatrax music) has decided to press a new edition of 2008's Vintage Vinyl 2 reissue. The tracks are all the same, of course, starting with the swinging and bumpy stride of "Restless Nights", followed by the dusty highs and deranged bleeps of "Turntribal" on the flip, and finally the woozy chimes of "The Almighty" as a final act. Our fourth release follows the ebb and flow of a night out in a strange mood.For starters, guided by the concerned voice of Query D, we turn a few corners and go to the local 24h store to pick up some Night Shop Gold, aka the best midnight snack, a samosa. After that we do some Doomstrolling to a tune that invites us to indulge in the night’s pleasures, absently grinning through it’s darkest hours. When the sun comes up again, The Sleepless rounds out the EP for all the insomniacs out there, with some reflections on the dangers of sleep deprivation set to a melancholy beat.

Hearing Colours is pleased to present their fifth EP, engineered by the master heads behind Melcure, the iconic duo, Felipe Valenzuela and Dani Casarano. These guys return with, "Under My Skin", showing us a touch of punk, techno and early uk tech house all mixed into one main idea. This hybrid saw the light after one of their latest, but few, studio interactions. The 3 cuts were designed on the same day and composed mostly with a MPC, an unusual system in their classic setup. This approach has given their sound a new twist which is presented uniquely on this EP.

Friends-making-music-for-friends-so-friends-can-dance-with-friends-to-make-more-friends”This is the third release on the “For Playful Manners” label presenting a split record by Gwenan Spearing from Whales, living in Berlin, who is an algorithmic coder during the day and a dj and producer by night. Gwenan loves techno and she is presenting on For Playful Manners 03 her first club music compositions (and there are plenty more to follow!). The two other tracks are from Camiflage who is based in Brussels/Belgium and is a movie animator during weekdays and a producer, label owner (Snaretrade Records) and dj during the wee wee hours of the weekend.
