Equal Audio is a new vinyl imprint for stripped-back and DJ-friendly house music. No matter of the subgenre, the focus is on consistent energy levels and rather simple arrangements. A minimalist approach for maximum sound quality.

The first release, entitled Giseigo EP, is brought to you by Croatian producer Mariano Mateljan - a true master when it comes to reduced yet powerful tools. With 4 originals he shows that no more than a handful of elements are needed to keep the dance floor moving.

Second physical record from KNOWN ARTIST brings forward the 4th EP from the french duo. Alex Kassian brings his sophisticated touch to warm “Get Up” into a chugging aerial soother. Aldonna honors “Say What ?” with high spirited energy from the depths of Me lbourne. The rest is the same business not business of signature rubber basses and chopped alarms!
VOYKOT initiates its inaugural release featuring the enigmatic producer PANICO EN DIRECTO ina concise mini LP format. Comprising 6 tracks, this collection showcases robust percussion anddaring melodies, spanning a broad spectrum of EBM and Techno influences.
Sex Tapes From Mars return with four more scintillating dancefloor-centric beats procured from the outer regions of the galaxy for your listening pleasure.
It is on dark and sweaty dance floors that we get inspired, connect and leave our differences away to live in the present. With this compilation of music pressed in two parts and written by a set of artists from very diverse horizons, it is Polychrome’s perspective on the rave that we want to share. One where sound and light are the only points of reference, opening the space for liberating experiences. The dance floor is also a space of self-reflection. The A-side is catered by two artists from one of our favorite collectives, De Lichting. With “A Reflection”, RDS opens up and shares a beautifully crafted house gem, providing for a soft and introspective yet groovy “eyes closed” dance. Nathan Kofi takes on the A2 with his unique deep house sound, layering sweet and cinematic synth sounds over an Afro-induced drum sequencing, creating a warm sonic envelope. On the B-side, James Free mixes acid synthesis, roaring bass line, and breaks to create a progressive and subtly melodic dance floor track, one that leaves you positively triggered. With the final track of the record, Rotterdam’s Mata Disk offers a glowing light over polyrhythms and very electronic noises, offering this body of work a deserved radiating curtain close.
This time round it’s a 3 track VA from Serbian artists Marko Nastic and Bosko Balos, plus another Banger from the UK producer Len Lewis.‘Music Is the Highway of Shared Experiences’A1 The Void, Len Lewis: “This track is a sinistertechhouse representation of when I died and went down to ‘the void’ in 2017. Then clawed my way back up through the earth to now!”B1 Thinking, Marco Nastic feat. Ryan James Owens: “One playful jam session in my studio resulted in this house/techno oriented track with Ryan’s vocal on top”. B2 Bag Me Up, Bosko Balos: “Starting 2022 I lost all of my projects from the last two years. Among a handful of wavs was Bag Me Up which marked a change in my sound. A combination of electro-break and old techno / house style”.
The XX issue in the extremely limited ARTIFACT series is full-lenght LP with 6 untitled dancefloor fillers. We assume these to be edited and reworked by Venetian disco-guru BOTTIN. Think rare future funk and early 80s spaghetti disco. Plus a weird gipsy-boogie version of Long Train Running and another track which smells like Clapton's Cocaine over Trans Europe Express but it's actually neither. We don't know anything more except this will sell out as all ARTIFACT relases.
