Finally, the second EP from Mondo Phase Rec is out. Joining the catalog is another legend of electro/electroclash: Sneak-Thief. Half of the legendary Polygamy Boys, Michel has always stood out over the years with his retro-nostalgic melodies and electro-funk sound. The vinyl consists of four solid tracks that serve as a litmus test for the entire musical journey.The record opens with 'Fashion Victim,' a classic electroclash track with a compelling vocoder as the main motif, followed by 'All Let Go,' a dub version of one of his historic pieces that remains incredibly relevant. It features an intense and hypnotic electro-funk bassline.The B-side kicks off with 'Der Herzensbrecher,' featuring drum breaks and futuristic melodies straight from the 80s. To conclude this journey, 'In A Distorted Wonderland' is the toughest and most introspective track, with sharp and paranoid leds, bringing us to the core of Sneak-Thief's production. No repress.

Adam Pits is back with his second album on Leeds based On Rotation ‘Synthetic Serenity’ represents the next evolutionary step of Adam’s sound design and direction. In stark contrast to his first album, ‘A Recurring Nature’, this new release moves out of the forest and into the digital landscape, capturing the sound of a future world over 8 varied tracks.Adam Pits talks about the inspiration behind the new album:“It’s hard to put into words how much of an impact 2022 had on my life. I could talk for hours about the highs and lows, the journeys, both inside and out of my body. Or I could just make an album.Having delved into the deeper reaches of techno and ambient, I wanted to show my appreciation for these genres on the record. Atmosphere, clarity and warmth became the pillars of my new sonic exploration, with stress falling on my signature ‘journeying’ style. The rank of ‘legend’ is often bestowed on those of a much lesser pedigree than Ron Wells. Known for his influence in the formative years of UK techno and drum and bass. Ron hand-carved his name in the underground hall of fame through his Sound Entity imprint, their series of sub-labels and his productions across countless monikers, none less so than his Jack Smooth namesake. Ron is joined by Anthony Wilson donning his Chicago Loop guise for 4 house and techno club-bumping collaborations that compile for release as the “Effusion 7075 EP”.
