Following a groundbreaking cassette-only release on electro label du jour Casa Voyager, Montreal-based producer Simial releases his first full vinyl EP on Gated.This is raw braindance unlike anything else from an exciting new talent you’ll be hearing more from in the future.Over six tracks, Simial takes us into unexplored and highly personal territory, with music that drops and kicks, stutters and starts in unexpected and melodic ways.Watch out for the little surprise vocal hidden in B3.

On behalf of re:discovery records, it is with great excitement that we announce the reissue of the illusive 1993 EP 'Clouds Over Europe' out of Sweden.This EP was orginally only 100 promo white labels without a proper full production release due to pre-internet slow communication from pending labels that were interested but never followed through. Music was changing so fast at that time, a year later perhaps those labels changed their mind. We will never know. Aquarian Atmosphere 'White Clouds' is the most highly regarded track from this album for many diggers.An amazing ambient techno track that sounds like classic Rising High records material to us. Sure to be played at chill out rooms everywhere. In 2021 re:discovery released a cd of unreleased music from Unit21. He is also featured here with an unreleased and we think even better version than the original of Clubbtraxx (Movement 1) along with a trance track from 39626 named 'Elixir of Life'. Surrounding those 3 tracks are 2 more unique 90's gems from Aquarian Atmosphere. Original copies of this white label being exchanged for $100 a copy isn't unusual at record fairs and online. We are really proud to finally help bring this piece of Swedish ambient techno history to a wider audience. "Cold Flower (full bloom) EP" is Berlin based Label Shiver Records' first release, and an exploration of different types of blooming flowers interpreted via hazy and lush sounds, subtle touches of dreamy house music in contrast to fast-paced highs, melodic trance sounds, and warm basses.
Melbourne-based artist Cris P kicks off the 30-minute journey with “Cold Flower”. The dominant lower frequencies in combination with the harmonized highs of this track, aim to take you right into the calming yet intense atmosphere of sweet-scenting cherry blossoms.Rosario continues with “Stigma flap”, a remix of Cold Flower in which he remains true to the tracks vocals but adds an exciting layer by continuously switching between dimmed down, softer elements and bass-heavy, stronger moments.Finalizing the record’s A-side, Ouxh brings up the speed in his track Aomori, named after the snowy yet green city in the far north of Japan. The precise drum programming and bubbling synths are at the core of this timeless piece.
With “High and dry” Berlin’s Ed Herbst starts straight into a mess of striped-down heads on the b side. He plays with subtle pads, vibrating from left to right, just before bringing in the baseline, tipping the record off into a more dancefloor-able direction.Ed continues with a second track, which is characterized by a warm and punchy kick and powerful bass, finishing of the EP with a lush and flowing groove, reminding us of a jungle full of vibrant, violet pattels.

Toronto based Emissive brings his inimitable sound to Aronia Records with a new four track EP. Unseen Measures is a collection of music distinct in tempo and timbre but unified by an emotive quality that is characteristic of Emissive’s productions. Oxygen Contact sets the pace with undulating synth swirls and metallic clangs backed by a steady rhythmic pulse. Grannr carries the vibe with a distorted and compressed drum pattern, flowering into a cathartic chord progression.The mood swells with Uplink’s shimmering synths and twinkling melodies bursting with peak time energy. This euphoria tapers off to a sensual comedown in the form of an eleven minute meditation on the dance floor, closing off the record with a Resounding Yes of hypnotic loops and rhythms.

After the amazing response for our first release, we couldn’t be more excited to share new energy with you.For this second release, the creativity is collective, giving birth to the first Various Artists of the Label.The two young talents Alex Dima & Munir Nadir, from Outcast Torino, give a clear example of their excellent music taste.Moving North-West towards Center-East Italy, you find yourself in the Riviera shores.Luca Piermattei, from Pesaro, is a true taste-maker of this scene, and we’re sure you’ll agree with that after listening to his stunning composition.Closing out the EP, our dear friends from Rimini, Smoud Beats, residents at Buongiorno Classic, deliver a d-floor acid bomb you can hardly resist.

Fastforward 2023, back on the highway with four twisted tracks from Rupert Marnie. The Hamburg based producer with a weakness for spicy japanese food and science fiction novels is part of The Press Group label and Remoto Recordshop, which both has been close to the LV musical mind and hearts – delivers the stuff we want to play with. Fail we may, sail we must.
