For the third release, Mung Records presents 12’’ Vinyl EP by acclaimed Ukrainian producer Yevhenii Kurylo aka Kurilo. His music passion goes back to playing percussion and drum instruments at the age of 12 and swiftly grew up into a desire to do DJing and create electronic music. Now, he produces electronic dance music, makes live performances, works on new vinyl releases and manages the Trance Pandemic label.

The mighty Schatrax label drops a reissue of a reissue, which was a reissue that we'd been keen to have back on our shelves for a while! If that all sounds a bit complicated, don't worry, we just mean to say that Josh Brent (label founder and purveyor of the Schatrax music) has decided to press a new edition of 2008's Vintage Vinyl 2 reissue. The tracks are all the same, of course, starting with the swinging and bumpy stride of "Restless Nights", followed by the dusty highs and deranged bleeps of "Turntribal" on the flip, and finally the woozy chimes of "The Almighty" as a final act. The tracks on this record were originally produced in 1993 and 1994 by Julius Weiland. Before becoming a visual artist he released house and ambient tracks under the name „Julius“ and other aliases. Deeply influenced by early Chicago House and Detroit Techno he developed his own style and sound. This is his second release on No Acting Vibes and it‘s bringing back some of his sought after tracks on vinyl again.(All tracks produced by Julius Weiland, Basic Paradise“ coproduced by Tom Gawlik“.)

French Duo "Dub Striker" make their debut on 'Happiness Therapy' with a solid 5-track EP backed by a remix by Chicago based House producer- and Smart Bar resident Garrett David.'Dub Striker' reignite the French House scene on their latest release with their raw sound influenced by artist like Gerd, Milton Jackson and Fabio Monesi. The opening track to the Birds Of A Feather EP, Wild Rhythm, showcases the duo’s diverse style with this tropical infused track featuring tribal rhythms, light and airy chords and bright melodics. A refreshing opening track that transports you to another place.The following track is "Mood Pt. 2", a raw loungey house track with Icey high hats, a punchy kick drum and hypnotic chord sequences.Opening on the flip side of the EP is, Computer Games, with a change of pace from the A side with its pulsating kick drum, floating bassline and spacey chords and melodies. ‘Would You ?’ follows, again showcasing the duos diverse style with this Jazzed up house track with its rhythmic raw percussions, classic house chord progressions, trippy vocals and dissonant synth stabs.Closing the EP is Garrett David’s take on Wild Rhythm, his interpretation takes you deep into the jungle with this upbeat percussion driven track, with it's soothing bird calls, tropicalmelodies and enchanting chords.
