Toby co-ran London Housing Trust and Voice Notes will feature some names familiar to LHT fans.However, the first release comes from a brand new name - Cherrie Bea -with a 4 track EP entitled 'Jafar's 21st'. Who is Jafar? We have no idea. And we don't know much about Cherrie either apart from the fact he lives in South-West London and is deep af. Maybe more will be revealed after this EP.The EP contains 3 original tracks taking you into Cherries cosmic world with a late night/early morning vibe. We get lush instrumentation and production, intricate guitar licks, voice synths, synth flourishes, and heavenly harmonies.A remix comes from one of our heroes, Nuron, the in-house producer at Likemind records -A legendary 90s imprint. He took on the lead track and made it all his own - a heads-down, building monster. ( Can we get a WOII? )

The 4th release is about the 6th district of Paris, and we're really glad to have on the first side, two brothers of the team, Max Cohle and Quatri aka Konalgad for his personal first release on vinyl.Max Cohle's track is founded on two different grooves, dubby and acid, that matches perfectly together.Quatri's one is an acid minimal track with a lot of energy and a progression that will blow your mind.On the other hand, we're really proud to have one of our favorite artists and a really good friend, Mister Beneath Usual, that has an impressive carrier with this patronym but that we'd also always loved for his worldwide known trance projects. His track is a groovy minimal one in reference to the concrete music originally thought by Pierre Schaeffer.After him is Olivier Romero, an underground Dj of the parisian scene that had been here for many years, and that's known by so many in the game. 'Odé on Ice' has a great melody that stays in mind for several days and fits magically the groove of the rythmics.Finally we welcome the young Leo Leyzerowitz with his wonderful and powerful track 'Saint Suplice' that continually grows with the groove.We hope you'll enjoy it :)LMR004, Paris 2022.Mastering by SFX Masterng.

The debut LP from duo Sunflower Aquarium offers a full spectrum bloom into the electronic ecosystem. Dylan Batelic (Paper-Cuts) and Thomas Martin (Furious Frank) fuse together for a 7 track collection of low-slung immersive deepness, embodying a cycle of life via the ebbs and flows of sonic seasonal evolution. A collaboration of cyber synthesis; written simultaneously Melbourne through Adelaide during late 2021, the result a refined yet spontaneous take on dubbed downtempo through to driving dance deviance.Beginning with a birth, the stand alone Intro’s saturated glow cultivates a vivid timbre and sun kissed sub-stratosphere. Sprouting melodic constructions continue to blossom throughout the record and growing pains are welcomed with open arms, a mature moodiness brooding delicately through assured drums and fleeting Janet vocal fragments. Broken beat patterns group together and tessellate, the woven sunken bass leaves space for flickering hi hat fissure in SA-124, this groove based atmospheric momentum evolving cohesively track after track. Bright, refined concepts that linger and dissolve in your subconscious for weeks. The B Side preserves the introspective tip but dives deeper, faster; Birds Of Paradise melting organic field recordings into blissful synth voices and ricochet breaks. Bubble (Contagious Mix) feels like a midnight highway dub drive, shooting and gliding fluently; coloured lights iridescently blurred as if it was all a dream... then the closing track, which induces a sharp sense of hypnosis. Traditional techno expressions flirt with your ears, layers of repetition locked and loaded, dwindling into the abyss; conclusion of the cycle.
